The Fast Find is a waterproof 406 MHz Personal Location Beacon (PLB) that should be carried by individuals embarking on trips into areas around the world where there is little or no other form of communication or where other forms of communication are unlikely to work. The Fast Find is designed as a direct communication to the 406 MHz Search and Rescue satellite system and its signal indicates the need for urgent response and assistance; it acts as a personal Emergency Location Beacon and is your last resort communication to the national and international search and rescue bodies.
Fast Find can be used on the surface by a diver in difficulty and out of range of all other communications and is a lifeline that will bring rapid assistance, even in the most remote locations of the world. If you become separated from your boat, get caught in strong currents, or even if there is an emergency on board, Fast Find can be activated simply and quickly.
The new Fast Find, with its compact dimensions, should be an integral part of safety equipment during a dive. The Fast Find alone is waterproof to 10 metres but may be carried to greater depths protected in the Custom Divers Dive Canister. Depth rated to 180 metres, the precision machined canisters are manufactured from high grade PVC and firmly sealed with two O-ring seals. The Fast Find PLB, with lanyards and flotation pouches, fits securely inside the canister offering utmost protection for your system. The canister, with your PLB safely inside, is also buoyant in water.
The Custom Divers Dive Canister is also supplied with a quick fit belt mount which will allow horizontal or vertical mount for flexible and comfort fit. Designed to be fastened to standard belts up to 50mm. Webbing loops are positioned on the rear so belts may be threaded through for a permanent fix. The Custom Divers Dive canister can be mounted and removed easily via the Velcro overlapping securing strap.
